Annual KGHF Fundraising Gala
Our biggest fundraiser of the year: an evening of dinner, live music and an auction. Past galas helped bring a new CT scanner to Kitimat General Hospital, and the event keeps growing.

$220,300+ raised
Presented by LNG Canada at the Riverlodge Recreation Centre, with dinner catered by Civeo, live music, a Heads & Tails 50/50 game and a charity auction.

Returns in 2027
Calendar Raffle
Every month of the calendar features photography donated by local artists, along with prizes from local businesses and sponsors. Proceeds go to hospital needs, including equipment for Mountainview Lodge.
In 2025, raffle winners and donors helped fund upgrades. Calendars return in 2027.

Skeena Wild Film Festival
A community celebration of film, photography and the Skeena Watershed.
We host Kitimat's stop on the Skeena Wild Film & Photo Festival, with short and feature films, youth work and photography about the landscapes, wildlife and people of Northern BC. Recent Kitimat screenings were held at Two Peaks Brewing.

Tim Hortons Smile Cookies
We partner with Tim Hortons on the national Smile Cookie Campaign. Every dollar from Smile Cookies sold in Kitimat stays in Kitimat, supporting priorities like palliative care at the hospital.
